When the idea is firmly implanted in the employee’s mind that he or she can grow with a company: a concept more relative when the company continues a steady encouraging period of growth; he or she is undoubtedly happier.
Many employees have stated that when they had a negative encounter or relationship with their supervisor, the preceding definitely factored into their happiness quotient. Persons with moody supervisors were not as content; and that lack of contentment can lead to less capacity as far as worker productivity.
